About

Graduating with a First Class Honours Degree in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design from Leeds College of Art in 2008, I am now based in Worcestershire, England. I work as a freelance illustrator, as well as designing and selling my own range of wallpapers and interior textiles.

Whilst exhibiting at the New Designers exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London, I received the ‘New Designer of the Year 2008′ award out of thousands of other graduates, for my collection of intricately hand drawn and digitally printed wallpapers and pattern designs.

My work has since received both national and international recognition in publications and press, with my wallpapers and fabrics now being stocked around the world.

Most notably my ‘Polka Polka’ design was shortlisted by Elle Decoration for ‘Best Surface Design 2009′. In late 2010 I was shortlisted for a second year by Elle Decoration, and in November it was announced I had won the ‘Best British Pattern Design’ award for my ‘Friti’ pattern at The British Design Awards.

My designs focus on intricate hand drawn illustrations which translate into my own collection of wallpapers, fabrics and homewares.
