I am very excited to announce that my ‘Friti’ design has been nominated by Elle Decoration for the  ‘Best British Pattern 2010′ award at the British Design Awards.

Today I decided it was time I updated my Press page and back-tracked all of the very kind features and mentions I have received over the past few years – mostly off bloggers from all over the world.
It’s such a nice feeling to know that somebody has taken the time to write about your work, and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has interviewed me, promoted my work, and given me a little mention here and there.

I’ve tried my best to find all the mentions I could, but if you have blogged about me and I’ve missed you out then please tell me and I’ll gladly add you!

Thank you to the MyDeco folk for asking me down to host a design clinic in their pop-up shop. I spoke to lots of lovely people and it was interesting to hear everyones wallpaper dilemas. Thanks to all of those who came, I’d love to hear any follow up stories!

10 long days came to an end yesterday when I returned home from the Grand Designs Live show in London. The show went really well, meeting lots of lovely customers and fellow exhibitors along the way.

My new range of cushions, including the new ‘Friti’ print were a big hit, which I’m really pleased about. Lots of people were also asking when fabric will be available by the metre; I’m working hard to get this ready for you asap, I will notify all when the shop has been updated.

The 20% off I offered on all products seemed to go down really well, so I’ve decided to keep it going on my online shop for the next two weeks!

Last year I worked on a commission with Johnson & Johnson to illustrate their new range of Aveeno Positively Nourishing Moisturisers. Almost a year since completing the work the products are now on the shelves (US only).

After lots of requests about whether or not I do fabrics, I am now taking the plunge. My first venture will be a range of cushions, with a brand NEW design being added to the collection. I am currently sampling the fabrics to make sure all of the colours are up to scratch, with them being launched at Grand Designs Live in May.

I am really excited to announce I will be exhibiting at Grand Designs Live at Excel, London from 1st – 9th May.  Come by my stand (E84) in the Design Arcade, which is a new section part funded by a bursary program offering exhibition space for young designers.  

As well as displaying and selling my wallpapers, I will also be launching some new products and designs in time for the show. On top of this I will be offering a 10% discount on all purchases during the exhibition!

I’m very excited to announce my first international stockist – Netti&Gee in Auckland, New Zealand. Owner Chris, saw my wallpaper during 100% Design back in September, and they’re now available via their website, or in-store where there is also a sample book to have a nosey through.

I travelled down to Birmingham Interiors 2010 to see my Tube Chair collaboration with Plant&Moss. It was really nice to see my pattern in the flesh, and has got me thinking about what other surfaces I could pattern up…
